About Course
This short course is designed to equip NPO leaders with the essential knowledge and skills to build sustainable, impactful organizations. The modules cover key areas such as understanding the difference between NPOs and NPCs in South Africa, aligning vision, mission, and values with community needs, and applying strategic planning tools like SWOT analysis.
We also explore how to link programmes to long-term impact, strengthen governance and board roles, and manage finances for sustainability. In addition, the course unpacks critical compliance requirements with SARS, CIPC, and the Department of Social Development, while also focusing on effective community and stakeholder engagement.
Finally, learners will develop skills in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to measure success and demonstrate accountability. Each module is South African-focused, and designed to help you run your non-profit like a professional, high-performing organization.
